Remember that game when….

Sound familiar? Many a footy discussion or debate, be it in one of the thousands of pubs, offices, homes or clubrooms around Australia, has begun something like this.

The almost 2500 games played by the Collingwood Football Club have seen a passing parade of champions, honest battlers and everything in between.

No team has won more often yet lost so famously. And no other supporters take defeat to heart so acutely, and to the chagrin of outsiders, no other celebrates with such gusto.

The bitter disappointments as much as the great triumphs, not to forget the players, coaches, officials and obsessive supporters, have made The Club what it is today; steeped in a rich, sometimes turbulent past, and most certainly never dull.
